Marta Nowotka

Marta is a Physics PhD student from Poland. She completed high school in Bosnia and Herzegovina and received a BA in Physics and Math from Colorado College. Marta studies the role of magnetism in the earliest stages of star formation; she works on placing constraints on magnetic field strength in diffuse HI clouds using Zeeman measurements and HI-based polarization maps. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, mushroom hunting, and quilting.
