George Halal
George was born and raised in Syria. He then went to high school in Lebanon before moving to the U.S. for his undergraduate and graduate degrees in physics. Using CMB, neutral hydrogen, dust reddening, and starlight polarization data, George works on modeling the three-dimensional structure of magnetic fields and dust polarization in our Galaxy and Local Bubble.
